Southwest Chicken Wrap

Ingredients

  • 1 Hillshire Farm® Grilled Chicken BreastGarlic and Herb1 whole wheat or flour tortilla (8-inch)1 tablespoon chipotle mayonnaise¼ cup shredded lettuce2 tablespoons shredded pepper jack cheese2 tablespoons chopped tomato2 tablespoons chopped avocado    

Directions:

1.     Cut chicken breast into strips.2.     Spread tortilla with mayonnaise.3.     Top with lettuce, cheese, tomato, avocado and chicken.  Roll up and serve immediately.

 

Mediterranean Lemon Herb Chicken Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 1 Hillshire Farm® Grilled Chicken Breast™ Lemon Pepper 1 pita bread split ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt 1 tablespoon chopped cucumber, tomato and ripe olives 1 pita pocket bread half, split 1 Romaine lettuce leaf 1 tablespoon feta cheese crumbles

Directions:

1. Prepare chicken according to package directions or serve cold, if desired. 2. Combine yogurt, cucumber, tomato and olives.

3. Fill pita with lettuce, chicken, yogurt mixture and feta cheese. Serve immediately.

Italian Chicken Sub

Ingredients

  • 1 Hillshire Farm® Grilled Chicken BreastItalian Style
    1 hoagie roll, split
     2 tablespoons Italian dressing ¼ cup shredded lettuce 2 tomato slices 1 slice provolone cheese, cut in half 3 green bell pepper rings 1 slice red onion  

Directions:

1.     Prepare chicken according to package directions.

2.     Spread both sides of bread with Italian dressing.

3.      Fill roll with lettuce, tomato, cheese, chicken, green pepper and onion.  Serve immediately.

Lemon Pepper Chicken Veggie Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 1 Hillshire Farm® Grilled Chicken Breast™ Lemon Pepper 1 Whole Wheat French bread roll, split or 2 slices of hearty whole grain bread 2 tablespoons hummus ¼ cup field greens 2 tomato slices 2 cucumber slices

1. Prepare chicken according to package directions or serve cold, if desired. 2. Spread both sides of roll with hummus. 3. Fill roll with greens, tomato, cucumber and chicken. Serve immediately.
Easy Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich

Ingredients

BLT Chicken Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 1 Hillshire Farm® Grilled Chicken BreastOriginal
    2 slices hearty white bread, toasted
    2 tablespoons ranch salad dressing
    1 lettuce leaf
    2 tomato slices
    2 slices bacon, cooked, drained

Directions:

1. Prepare chicken according to package directions. 2. Spread both sides of bread with ranch dressing. 3. Fill with lettuce, tomato, chicken and bacon. Serve immediately.
Quick and Easy Beef and Jalapeno Nachos

Ingredients

  • 2 Hillshire Farm® Beef and Jalapeno with Monterey Jack Cheese Premium Beef Smoked Sausage Links 4 cups tortilla chips (about 4 ounces) 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Mexican cheese blend 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes 1/4 cup sliced pitted ripe black olives Prepared guacamole and salsa

Directions:

1. Cut sausage into 1/4" slices. Arrange tortilla chips on a microwave-save plate in a single layer. Place one slice of sausage on each chip. Sprinkle cheese over sausage. Microwave on High for 1-2 minutes or until cheese is melted and sausage is warm. 2. Top chips with tomatoes and olives. Serve with guacamole and salsa if desired. Cook's Tips: Chips and also be arranged on a baking sheet and broiled 3-4 inches from heat for 2-3 minutes.
Beef and Bacon Blue Cheese Hot Potato Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Hillshire Farmâ Gourmet Creations Beef & Bacon with Monterey Jack Cheese Premium Smoked Beef Sausage 1 cup chopped red onion 4 cups red new potatoes, quartered, cooked and drained 1/2 cup Italian salad dressing 1/2 cup (2 ounces) blue cheese crumbles 4 strips bacon, cripsly cooked, crumbled (optional) 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Directions:

1. Cut sausage into 1/2" cubes. Spray a large skillet with cooking spray. Add sausage and onion. Cook and stir over medium heat for 4-5 minutes or until sausage is lightly browned and onion is tender. 2. Stir in potatoes; cook and stir for 4-5 minutes or until potatoes are lightly browned. 3. Stir in salad dressing and blue cheese; heat through. 4. Spinkle with bacon and parsley just before serving, if desired.
Chicken Apple Gouda Panini Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Hillshire Farmâ Gourmet Creationsâ Chicken Smoked Apple Gouda Premium Sausage Links
    4 ciabatta rolls, split
    4 teaspoons Dijon mustard
    4 teaspoons raspberry preserves
    1 cup arugula
    4 slices Gouda cheese
    1 large apple, cored and cut into thin slices

Directions:

1. Cut each sausage lengthwise, but not all the way through, so sausage lies flat. Cook sausage on preheated panini grill or large non-stick skillet until browned and heated through.

2. Spread 1 teaspoon mustard on top half of roll and 1 teaspoon raspberry preserves on bottom half of roll. Repeat with remaining rolls.

3. For each sandwich, layer bottom half raspberry preserves-side up with 1/4 cup arugula, one heated split sausage link, several apple slices and a slice of cheese. Top with top roll, mustard side down.

4. Grill sandwich on panini grill about 4-5 minutes or until crips and golden brown.

Cook's Tip: Substitute 8 slices Italian bread for ciabatta rolls. If you don't have a panini grill you can use a large non-stick skillet to cook the sandwiches. Place a pie plate weighted down with heavy canned goods on top of the sandwiches while they cook. Cook the first side 2 minutes or until golden brown then carefully turn the sandiwch. Weight it down again to cook another 2 minutes until cheese melts and second side is crisp and golden brown. 

 

Italian Chicken Ciabatta Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 1 Hillshire Farm® Grilled Chicken Breast
    1 ciabatta roll, split
    2 tablespoons prepared pesto
    2 lettuce leaves
    1 slice mozzorella cheese
    4 slices plum tomatoes

Directions:

1. Heat chicken according to package directions

2. Spread both slides of roll with pesto

3. Fill with lettuce, cheese, tomato and chicken. Serve immediately.

Italian Garden Salad with Garlic & Herb Chicken Breast

Ingredients

  • 1 Hillshire Farm Grilled Chicken Breast Garlic & Herb
    2 cups field greens
    1/2 cup fresh green beans, cooked, drained
    1/4 cup grape tomatoes
    2 tablespoons red onion slivers
    1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
    1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
    1 teaspoon olive oil
    1 teaspoon shredded Parmesan cheese

Directions:

1. Cut chicken breast into strips

2. Layer greens, green beans, tomatoes and red onion on a salad plate or in a bowl. Top with chicken strips.

Chicken Apple Gouda Smoked Sausage with Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Hillshire Farm®  Gourmet Creations®  Chicken Smoked Apple Gouda Premium Sausage Links
    1 medium red bell pepper, chopped
    1/2 cup chicken broth
    1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    2 cups prepared wild or brown rice
    1/2 cup dried cranberries
    1/4 cup sliced green onion
    2 tablespoons candied pecans or walnuts (optional)

Directions:

1. Cut sausage into 1/2" pieces. Spray a large non-stick skillet with cooking spray. Add sausage and peppers; cook, stirring frequently 3-4 minutes or until lightly browned.

2. Add chicken broth, and cinnamon to skillet; bring to a boil. Stir in prepared wild rice, cranberries and green onion. Cook until heated through. Sprinkle with nuts, just before serving, if desired.

Italian Chicken Bow Tie Pasta
Italian Chicken Bow Tie Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Hillshire Farmâ Grilled Chicken Breast
    4 oz. uncooked bow tie (farfalle) pasta (about 1- 1/4 cups dry pasta)
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    1 cup tomato basil pasta sauce
    1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
    Shredded Parmesan cheese (optional)

Directions:

1. Cut chicken into 1/2" cubes; set aside. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and keep warm. 

2. While pasta is cooking, add olive oil and chicken to a large non-stick skillet. Cook and stir over medium heat for 3-4 minutes or until chicken is hot. 

3. Stir in pasta sauce and basil; heat through. Toss with pasta and serve immediately. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if desired.  

Turkey Lettuce Wrap with Mango Fruit Salad

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh mango
    1/4 cup chopped fresh kiwi
    1/4 cup chopped fresh pineapple
    1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
    1/2 teaspoon chopped cilantro
    2 ounces Hillshire Farm® Deli Select® Lower Sodium Honey Roasted Turkey Breast
    2 leaves butter or curly leaf lettuce

Directions:

1. Combine mango, kiwi, pineapple, lime jiuce and cilantro; mix lightly.

2. Fill lettuce with turkey slices and mango mixture. Roll-up. Serve immediately.

Chicken Apple Salad with Walnuts
Chicken Apple Salad with Walnuts

Ingredients

  • 4 links Hillshire Farm Gourmet Creations Chicken Apple Smoked Sausage with Gouda
    1/4 c fresh lemon juice
    1 T honey
    1 T hot and sweet mustard
    1/2 c olive oil
    1 lb mixed greens or spinach (cleaned)
    1 c Roasted Walnuts coarsely chopped
    1 Granny Smith Apple (thinly sliced)
    Shaved Parmesan
    1 c cherry tomatoes (halved)

Directions:

1. In a large skillet over medium heat, saute the sausage 2-3 minutes per isde until browned. Remove from pan and set aside.

2. Remove the pan from the heat, remove the sausage and stir in the lemon juice, honey and mustard, scrapping up any browned bits. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking until the dressing is well mixed. Allow to cool, then season to taste.

3. Slice the sausage into 1/4 inch thick slices.

4. Toss the dressing with the greens, tomatoes, walnuts and sausage, serve.

Tri-Color Sweet Italian Sausage and Peppers with Vodka Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Hillshire Farmâ Gourmet Creations Sweet Italian Style Premium Pork Smoked Sausage with Peppers & Mozzarella Cheese
    1 pkg. (9 oz.) Butoni Three Cheese Tortellini
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    1 green bell pepper, seeded and cut into 1/2" strips
    1 red bell pepper, seeded and cut into 1/2" strips
    1 yellow bell pepper, seeded and cut into 1/2" strips
    1 container (15 oz.) Butoni Refrigerated Vodka Sauce
    1/4 cup (1 oz.) fresh shredded Parmesan cheese
    1/4 cup fresh basil, cut into thin strips

Directions:

1. Cut sausage on an angle into 1/2"slices.

2. Prepare tortellini according to package directions; drain and keep warm.

3. Add olive oil and sausage to large non-stick skillet; cook sausage over medium heat 1-2 minutes per side or until lightly browned. Removed from skillet and keep warm.

4. Add peppers,; cook and stir for 6-8 minutes or until peppers are soft.

5. Add back sausage, vodka sausage and cooked tortellini; heat through. Spoon onto serving platter or bowl. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil. Serve immediately.

Ingredients

  • 1 Hillshire Farm Grilled Chicken Breast Lemon Pepper
    1 French Bread roll, split
    2 tablespoons mayonnaise
    1/4 cup baby spinach leaves
    2-3 slices drained roasted red bell pepper
    1 slice provolone cheese, cut in half

Directions:

1. Heat chicken according to package directions, if desired or serve cold.

2. Spread both sides of roll with mayonnaise

3. Fill with spinach, roasted red bell peppers, cheese and chicken. Serve immediately

Bratwurst Wraps
Bratwurst Wraps

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Hillshire Farm® Bratwurst
  • 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 2 tablespoons honey mustard plus additional for serving

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Separate crescent rolls into 8 triangles.
  2. Place a bratwurst on each triangle base and roll up towards point
  3. Place wrapped bratwurst on a baking sheet, point side down. Brush rolled bratwurst and dough with mustard.
  4. Bake 18-20 minutes or until sausage is hot and dough is golden brown.  Serve with additional mustard if desired.
The Steel City Charmer

Ingredients

  • Hillshire Farm Deli Select® Ultra Thin Roast Beef
    Thick sliced Italian bread
    Bacon
    Mild cheddar cheese, sliced
    Cole slaw mix, in a bag
    Cole slaw dressing
    Red onion, sliced
    Potato chips

Directions:

1. Start with a generous layer of roast beef on thick sliced Italian bread.

2. Then add toppings in this order: bacon, your favorite cole slaw, sliced red onion, cheese, and potato chips.

3. Top with another thick slice of Italian bread.

The Hoosier

Ingredients

  • Hillshire Farm Deli Select® Ultra Thin Oven Roasted Turkey Breast
    Crumbled Bacon
    Cucumber
    Lettuce
    Sesame seed bread

Directions:

1. Mash avocado in a medium-sized bowl.

2. Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk and vinegar until well blended.

3. Stir in salt, parsley, dill, onion powder and garlic powder.

4. Spread on sesame seed bread.

5. Stack turkey, lettuce, bacon and cucumber slices.

6. Enjoy!

Avocado Ranch Dressing

1/4 cup ripe avocado

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup sour cream

1 Tbsp. buttermilk

1 1/2 tsp. distilled white vinegar

1/8 tsp. salt

1/8 tsp. dried parsley

1 pinch dried dill weed

1/8 tsp. onion powder

1 pinch garlic powder

The Beehive

Ingredients

  • 2 slices Hillshire Farm Deli Select® Ultra Thin Oven Roasted Turkey Breast
    1 Tbsp. cranberry jalapeno chutney on bottom, and another on top of apple
    4-5 slices cheddar cheese, one on top of each apple slice
    4-5 apples, thinkly sliced (to cover bread)
    1/2 cup spinach
    1 Tbsp. poppy seed dressing
    2 Tbsp. walnuts
    Ciabatta bread
     

Directions:

1. Cut cibatta bread in half.

2. Spread cranberry jalapeno chutney on both slices of bread.

3. Place 2 slices of turkey on top of chutney.

4. Place four apple slices, thinly sliced, on top of turkey.

5. Place slice of cheddar cheese on each apple slice.

6. Place 1/2-1 cup of spinach salad on top of apples.

 

Spinach Salad

Mix 1 cup of spinach with poppy seed dressing and chopped walnuts.

 

The Zesty Texan

Ingredients

  • 7 slices Hillshire Farm Deli Select® Ultra Thin Rotisserie Seasoned Chicken Breast
    2 slices Sara Lee® Hearty & Delicious 100% Multi-Grain Bread
    3 - 4 thinkly sliced red onion rings
    2 slices tomato
    1 slice pepperjack cheese
    Green leaf lettuce, 1 large leaf
    1/2 Tbsp. cilantro

Directions:

1. Fold chicken breast slices on top of one slice of bread.

2. Top with cheese, tomato, onion and lettuce.

3. Spread 2 Tbsp. of avacado cream on the second slice of bread and sprinkle the cilantro on top of the cream.

4. Place on top of the sandwich.  

 Avocado Cream:

1 avocado, small

1 squeeze of lime

1 Tbsp. sour cream

1/8 tsp. kosher salt

Freshly cracked pepper, one twist on a peper mill

(Add avocado and sour cream to a small bowl, and mix until fairly smooth. Add a squeeze of lime, salt and one "twist" of freshly cracked black pepper.)

 

The Rockin' Mile High

Ingredients

  • 5 to 6 slices Hillshire Farm Deli Select® Ultra Thin Roast Beef
    2 slices multigrain oat bread
    2 ounces goat cheese, cut into thin slices
    2 to 3 romaine leaves
    1/2 to 1 tsp. fire sauce

Directions:

1. Place bread slices side by side.

2. Place half the cheese on one side of bread and half on the other.

3. Do the same with the roast beef - half on one slice and half on the other.

4. Spread the fire sauce directly onto the meat.

5. Place the romaine leaves on one slice of bread, directly on top of the meat.

6. Carefully combine the two sides, cut in half and serve.

 

The Northwest Tailgater

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. Hillshire Farm Deli Select® Ultra Thin Roast Beef
    1 loaf focaccia bread
    6-8 Tbsp. butter, room temperature
    4-6 Tbsp. pesto mayonnaise (see directions)
    4-6 Tbsp. honey dijon mustard
    1 red onion, thinly sliced
    1/4 lb. medium cheddar cheese, sliced
    1 cup fresh baby spinach
    1 small jar of roasted red pepper, sliced into strips
     

Directions:

1. Slice focaccia in half horizontally and spread both halves with butter, mayo and mustard. Note: To make pesto mayo, combine 1/2 cup mayo with 2 tsp. of pesto or to taste.

2. Layer ingredients on bottom half of bread in the following order: roast beef, onion, cheese, red pepper and spinach.

3. Can be served immediately, or you can allow the flavors to meld together by wrapping the sandwich in plastic wrap and foil, and refrigerating at least 8 hours or overnight.

4. Cut into wedges to serve.

 

Winter Wonderland (Turkey and Cranberry Delight)

Ingredients

  • 5 slices Hillshire Farm Deli Select® Ultra Thin Lower Sodium Oven Roasted Turkey Breast
    2 slices Italian loaf bread, toatsed
    2 heaping tablespoons of cranberry sauce
    3 thinly sliced apples
    Several leaves of baby arugula
    1 Tbsp. whole cream cheese
    2 slices of tomato
     

Directions:

Directions:

  1. Cut each sausage into 4 equal lengths, then cut each section lengthwise, but not all the way through, so sausage lies flat. Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat for 3 minutes.  Cook sausages 4 minutes per side or until lightly browned.  Remove from skillet and keep warm.

  • Cook’s Tip:  These sandwiches are easy to turn into an appetizer.  Substitute 1 loaf (16 ounces) cocktail rye bread for the regular rye bread.  Slice sausage into ¼“ slices.  Spread each mini bread slice with a small portion of the sauerkraut mixture, top with a sausage slice and small slice of cheese.  Bake at 400°F.  for 15-18 minutes or until sausage is hot and cheese is lightly browned.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Hillshire Farm® Smoked Sausage
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons honey mustard
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill
  • 2 cups packaged shredded cabbage (coleslaw mix)
  • 4 slices dark rye bread
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Cut each sausage in 4 equal lengths, then cut each section lengthwise, but not all the way through, so sausage lies flat. 
  2. Combine mayonnaise, mustard and dill in medium bowl.  Stir in cabbage, mixing lightly to combine.
  3. Place bread slices on a rimmed baking sheet.  Top each slice with ¼ of cabbage mixture, 1 split sausage section and 1 slice of cheese.  Bake 20 minutes or until heated through and cheese is lightly browned.   Serve open-face style.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Hillshire Farm® Smoked Sausage
    2 cups frozen whole kernel corn
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 teaspoon ground cumin
    ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
    1 tomato, seeded, chopped
    1 avocado, peeled, cut in small cubes
    ½ cup sour cream
    2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
    8 large flour tortillas, warmed according to package directions

Directions:

  1. Cut sausage into ½” cubes.  Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat for 3 minutes.  Add sausage; cook, stirring occasionally, 3-4 minutes or until lightly browned.
  2. Add corn, garlic, cumin and pepper; cook, stirring frequently, 2 minutes or until corn is thawed.  Remove from heat; gently stir in tomato, avocado, sour cream and lime juice.
  3. Place 1/8th of sausage mixture (about 2/3 cup) in center of tortilla; roll tortilla to hold filling inside.  Repeat with remaining filling and tortillas.

  • 2 cups chopped Hillshire Farm® Smoked Ham
    2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Mexican cheese blend
    ¼ cup finely chopped cilantro
    1 jalapeño pepper, seeded, finely chopped

    8 large flour tortillas (10” size)
    Salsa (optional)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F.  Toss together all ingredients except for tortillas and salsa.
  2. Place ½ cup of ham mixture on each tortilla.  Fold tortillas in half and press down lightly. 
  3. Place filled tortillas on 2 ungreased baking sheets.  Bake until tortillas are crisp and golden brown, about 5 minutes.  Cut into wedges and serve with salsa if desired.

    2 large whole-wheat pita breads, cut in half
    1 cup finely shredded romaine lettuce

  1. Open pockets of pita bread halves.  Divide the turkey among the 4 halves.

  • 1 pkg. Hillshire Farm® Beef Smoked Sausage
  • 1 tube (16 ounces) polenta, cut into 12 slices
  • 2 green bell peppers, chopped
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 3 plum tomatoes, cored, cut into 4 slices each
  • 1 cup (4 ounces) crumbled feta or goat cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.  Cut sausage in half lengthwise, then cut into ¼” slices; set aside.   Lightly grease a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.  Place polenta slices on sheet and bake 20 minutes.  Top each polenta round with a tomato slice; sprinkle with cheese.  Bake 4-5 minutes longer or until cheese starts to melt.
  2. While polenta bakes, heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat for 3 minutes.  Add sausage, peppers, onions and Italian seasoning.  Cook, stirring frequently 8-10 minute or until vegetables are tender.
  3. Transfer 2 polenta stacks to each plate.  Top with ¾ cup of sausage mixture.  Garnish with fresh basil if desired.

  • 2/3 cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup hoisin sauce
  • 2½ cups packaged shredded cabbage (coleslaw mix)
  • ½ cups shredded carrots
  • ½ cup chopped red bell pepper
  • ½ cup sliced green onions
  • 1/3 cup coarsely chopped honey roasted peanuts
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro
  • 6 large (9”-10”) flour tortillas

Directions:

  1. Cut sausage in half lengthwise, then into ¼” slices.  Heat large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat for 3 minutes.  Add sausage and cook, stirring frequently 3-4 minutes or lightly browned.  Remove sausage from pan and drain.
  2. Combine mayonnaise and hoisin sauce in large bowl.  Add sausage, cabbage, carrots, red pepper, green onions, peanuts and cilantro; toss gently until well coated with mayonnaise mixture.
  3. Heat tortillas according to package directions.  Place 1 cup of sausage mixture onto each tortilla just below center.  Fold bottom edge up and over filling.  Fold side edges in slightly then roll up tortilla from bottom.
  • Cook’s Tip: Hoisin sauce is a thick, sweet and spicy sauce used in many Chinese recipes.  Hoisin sauce can be found in the Asian section of most grocery stores.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Hillshire Farm® Turkey Smoked Sausage
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, cut into thin wedges
  • 1 green or red bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 6 whole-wheat pita bread rounds
  • Sauce:
  • 1/3 cup plain non-fat yogurt
  • 1/3 cup non-fat sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon spicy brown mustard
  • 1 small clove garlic, minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions:

  1. Cut sausage into ¼” slices.   Heat oil in large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until hot.  Add sausage, onion and pepper; cook, stirring frequently for 6-7 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  2. While sausage mixture is cooking, combine Sauce ingredients in small bowl.
  3. Warm pita bread according to package directions.  Top each pita with 2/3 cup of sausage mixture and drizzle with about 2 tablespoons of sauce.
  • Variation: Pitas may be cut in half and filled with sausage mixture if desired.

  • 1 (8") flour tortilla
  • 1/2 cup prepared coleslaw
  • 6 slices Hillshire Farm® Deli Select® Smoked Turkey Breast
  • 2 slices tomato
  • 1 slice Swiss cheese
  • 1 slice Colby cheese
  • 2 tbsp. bacon bits

Directions:

Spread tortilla with coleslaw, leaving 1" around the edge uncovered. Sprinkle coleslaw with bacon bits.
Layer tomatoes, turkey, ham, and cheeses on top of coleslaw. Gently roll tortilla and wrap in aluminum foil or plastic wrap. Chill until served.

  • 1 pkg. Hillshire Farm® Turkey Smoked Sausage
  • 12 corn tortillas
  • 6 cups shredded lettuce
  • 2 cups chopped tomatoes
  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled, thinly sliced
  • ¾ cup chopped red onion
  • 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded reduced-fat Mexican cheese blend
  • 1 cup salsa

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.  Cut sausage into ¼” slices; set aside.   Arrange tortillas on 2 baking sheets.  Bake tortillas 5 minutes, turn and bake 3-4 minutes longer.
  2. Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat for 3 minutes. Add sausage and cook, stirring frequently for 3-4 minutes or until lightly browned.   Remove from pan and drain.
  3. Top tortillas with lettuce, tomatoes, avocados, onion, sausage, cheese and salsa.

  • 2 pkgs. Hillshire Farm® Hot Smoked Sausage
    ¼ cup chopped onion
    3 cups frozen whole kernel corn
    2 teaspoons sugar
    ½ teaspoon ground cumin
    ½ teaspoon salt
    3 ounces cream cheese
    1/3 cup milk 
    1 tablespoon finely chopped flat leaf parsley
    8 long Italian style rolls or brat buns
    ¼ cup butter or margarine, softened
    2 teaspoons garlic powder
    2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.  Cut each sausage in 4 equal lengths, then cut each section lengthwise, but not all the way through, so sausage lies flat.  Heat a large non-stick skillet on medium for 3 minutes.  Cook sausages 4 minutes per side or until lightly browned.  Remove from pan and keep warm.
  2. Add onions to drippings in pan and cook, stirring frequently for 3 minutes or until softened.  Increase heat to medium-high and add corn, sugar, cumin and salt.  Cook 5 minutes, stirring frequently until corn is hot.  Add cream cheese and milk; stir until mixture is smooth and bubbly.  Remove from heat and stir in parsley.
  3. Open each roll and brush cut sides with butter then sprinkle with garlic powder.  Place rolls open face on baking sheet; bake 7-10 minutes or until light brown and crispy.
  4. Place cooked sausage on toasted rolls.  Top each sausage with a generous ¼ cup of corn mixture.  Sprinkle each sandwich with ¼ cup shredded cheese.  Return to oven and bake 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  • Cook’s Tip:  Substitute any Hillshire Farm® Smoked Sausage for the Hot Smoked Sausage.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Hillshire Farm® Smoked Sausage
  • 8 large (10-inch) flour tortillas
  • 4 cups (16 ounces) shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 1 can (20 ounces) pineapple tidbits, drained
  • ½ cup sliced green onions
  • ½ cup sliced, pitted ripe black olives
  • Salsa, sour cream and chopped cilantro

Directions:

  1. Cut sausage into ¼” slices.  Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat for 3 minutes.  Add sausage and cook, stirring frequently, about 3-4 minutes or until lightly browned.  Remove sausage and drippings from pan. 
  2. Reduce heat to medium.  Place one tortilla in pan.  Top with ¼ each of cheese, sausage, pineapple, green onions and black olives.  Place another tortilla on top.
  3. Cook quesadilla for 1-2 minutes or until bottom is crisp and lightly browned.  Carefully flip quesadilla and cook second side 1-2 minutes until lightly browned and cheese is melted.   Remove quesadilla from pan and repeat with remaining ingredients.
  4. Cut each quesadilla into 8 wedges and serve with salsa, sour cream and chopped cilantro if desired.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Hillshire Farm® Smoked Sausage
    8 slices Italian bread
    2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
    4 teaspoons Dijon mustard
    ½ cup whole berry cranberry sauce
    4 slices Gouda cheese
    1 ripe Bartlett pear, cored and cut into thin slices

Directions:

  1. Cut sausage into 4 equal lengths, then cut each section lengthwise, but not all the way through, so sausage lies flat.  Cook sausage on preheated panini grill or large non-stick skillet until browned and heated through.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.  Turn slices over and spread with Dijon mustard and cranberry sauce.
  3. For each sandwich, layer one split sausage section, several pear slices and a slice of cheese.  Top with bread slice, buttered side facing up.
  4. Grill sandwich on panini grill about 4-5 minutes or until crisp and golden brown.
     
  • Cook’s Tip:  If you don’t have a panini grill you can use a large non-stick skillet to cook the sandwiches.  Place a pie plate weighted down with heavy canned goods on top of the sandwiches while they cook.  Cook the first side 2 minutes or until golden brown then carefully turn the sandwich.  Weight it down again and cook another 2 minutes until cheese melts and second side is crisp and golden brown.

  • 3 slices Hillshire Farm® Deli Select® Smoked Turkey
  • 3 slices Hillshire Farm® Deli Select® Smoked Ham
  • 1/2 tsp. hot sauce
  • 3 slices bacon
  • 2 tbsp. mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 3 slices Sara Lee® sourdough bread
  • herb-garlic or Swiss cheese, sliced
  • romaine lettuce

Directions:

In a large skillet, over medium heat, cook bacon. Drain and re-serve.
Toast bread slices.
In small bowl, combine mayonnaise and hot sauce. Spread on one side of each slice of toast.
Top one slice of toast with Hillshire Farm® Deli Select® Turkey and cheese. Top with second toast slice. Add Hillshire Farm® Deli Select® Ham, bacon, and romaine lettuce.
Finish with toast, anchor with toothpicks, and cut in half.
