How to Cook/Handle/Prepare

Due to differences in cooking equipment, heating times may require adjustment.

Preheat grill to medium-low heat. Grill sausage for 8-10 minutes, or until heated thoroughly turning frequently for even browning.

Bring 2/3 cup of water to boil in a large skillet. Add sausage; cover and reduce heat. Simmer for 10-12 minutes or until heated thoroughly, turning once. If browning is desired, drain water and heat for 3-4 minutes or until browned, turning frequently.

Wrap sausage in moistened paper towel and place on a microwave-safe plate. Microwave on HIGH for 40-45 seconds* or until heated thoroughly. Let stand in microwave 1 minute, before serving.

*The preparation directions were developed using an 1100 watt microwave oven set on High. Due to differences in microwave ovens, heating time may vary.

For children under 5 years: Cut links lengthwise, then slice into bite size pieces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Balance of Beer and Brat. The Beer Brat balances the flavors of the brat and the beer perfectly. Neither are overpowering, each works to compliment and enhance each other. My only complaint is the number of links in a package. You will without a doubt go through these quickly.
