How to Cook/Handle/Prepare

ALWAYS HEAT THOROUGHLY

 

PAN FRY

 

Cut Smoked Sausage sections in half lengthwise or into 1'2" slices. Add to non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cooke 6-9 minutes, turning frequently.

 

STOVE TOP

 

Add sausage to 2-3 inches of boiling water. Simmer for 10-12 minutes.

 

GRILL

 

Grill over medium-high heat for 12-14 minutes, turning frequently.

 

For children under 5 years: Cut sausage lengthwise, then slice into bite size pieces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beef Polska Kielbasa I cook for an homeless shelter and I made them steam the sausages with a lot of different peppers onions with a pasta salad and some butter beans on the side the ladies and children loved it and noting was left, and tis was a quick meal . however it could be a little less salty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yummy versatile sausage I’m very picky about my sausage...with a sensitive stomach I can’t handle something overly spicy but my palate doesn’t want something bland and this sausage is the perfect balance. For my latest dish I sautéed green peppers and onions in light oil then added in sliced beef Polska kielbasa and topped with Parmesan cheese and a dash of salt and pepper for a low carb satisfying dish....for the carb lovers in the house they added cooked white rice to theirs and everyone agreed it was delicious :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beef Polska Kielbasa and Potatoes I peel, quarter and boil Idaho potatoes until soft then drain the water off. Next I put margarine in the pot to melt and mix it up with the potatoes. In the meantime I dice the kielbasa and fry it up in a skillet. I add the kielbasa to the potatoes and stir well. Delicious! The grandsons enjoy it too.
