How to Cook/Handle/Prepare


Pan Fry 

Cut Smoked Sausage sections in half lengthwise or into 1/2" slices. Add to a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook 6-9 minutes, turning frequently. 


Grill over medium-high heat for 12 - 14 minutes, turning frequently.

Stove Top

Add sausage to 2 -3 inches of boiling water. Simmer for 10 - 12 minutes. For children under 5 years: Cut sausage lengthwise, then slice into bite size pieces.

The flavor of the pesto is mild against the robust smoky sausage, paired vary well with chicken tortellini in garlic butter sauce, but would also be nice with a red sauce or pesto. perfect and versatile. absolutely loved this, can't wait to try more new flavors. I have always loved cheddar wurst and kielbasa as well as the beef smoked sausage, Hillshire Farms has done it again, they never disappoint. Customer for life. :-)
