How to Cook/Handle/Prepare

Stove top

Add links to 2-3 inches of boiling water and simmer for 2-4 minutes.

Bake links in shallow pan in a preheated 350°F oven for 12-14 minutes.

Microwave (1100 Watts)

Ovens vary; cook times may need to be adjusted. Remove 5 links from package and place on a microwave-safe plate. Cover with a paper towel. Microwave on High for 20-25 seconds or until hot. (For compact or microwave ovens lower than 850 watts add 5-10 seconds, if needed). Let stand in microwave for 1 minute, before serving.

CAUTION: PRODUCT WILL BE HOT! For children under 5 years: Cut link lengthwise, then slice into bite size pieces.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Love these smokies! Been buying them since they came out in stores. However, when the package says 'cheddar' they should actually have cheddar in them, shouldn't they? The last several months, mostly no cheddar. I buy this particular version because they taste the best and because of the cheese. When the cheese is not there, I may as well buy the other. Cooked 6 smokies this morning. 2 of them had cheddar. It's not oozing out, it's just not there. No cheddar taste, no cheddar visible, no cheddar found.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Different casing? I used to love smokies. Would buy them all th time. The last few I’ve boughten in the last couple of months have a different casing that makes them taste different and gives me a bad tasting burp - just from eating 2 mini smokies! I will not be getting these any longer unless the casing is fixed. Please look into this!
