How to Cook/Handle/Prepare

ALWAYS HEAT LINKS THOROUGHLY

Stove top

Add links to 2-3 inches of boiling water and simmer for 2-4 minutes.

Oven

Bake links in shallow pan in a preheated 350°F oven for 12-14 minutes.

Microwave (1100 Watts)

Ovens vary; cook times may need to be adjusted. Remove 5 links from package and place on a microwave-safe plate. Cover with a paper towel. Microwave on High for 20-25 seconds or until hot. (For compact or microwave ovens lower than 850 watts add 5-10 seconds, if needed). Let stand in microwave for 1 minute, before serving.

CAUTION: PRODUCT WILL BE HOT! For children under 5 years: Cut link lengthwise, then slice into bite size pieces.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What's going on? I am so happy to see that it isn't just me who has noticed the "new taste." I purchased some in recent months (4 or 5 packs at a time) and noticed that the flavor was bland. It had me confused actually-- I thought maybe I picked up the wrong brand. Please go back to the original recipe. If nothing harmful was in it, then bring it back. If it was, still bring it back....it was worth the taste...LOL Seriously though, what's going on with the recipe?? We need flava! Bring back the flava! Bring back the flava! Bring back the flava! If I wanted to eat something that bland, I would've chosen vienna sausages...yuck!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New Recipe is Awful We make pigs in blankets with these and thought something was wrong with the batch we got. Nope. Turns out recipe has changed. The new "hot dog" flavor and texture is gross. Go back to the old style.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Changed Ingredients - tastes awful!! I have been eating Lit'l Smokies for years but will not buy again unless you go back to the original recipe. You obviously changed the ingredients. Why did you lower the quality of this wonderful little sausage??? I would rather pay a few cents more for the original recipe if it is a matter of money!! You are losing a lot of customers as all of my friends say the same... it is a "horrible taste" since the ingredients change!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the same! My family has always enjoyed the lil smokies, but the last couple of times they have tasted like cooked hotdogs. Not what we want for breakfast. Please go back to the old recipe so we can go back to purchasing your product.
