How to Cook/Handle/Prepare

ALWAYS HEAT THOROUGHLY


PAN FRY

Cut Smoked Sausage sections in half lengthwise or into 1'2" slices. Add to non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cooke 6-9 minutes, turning frequently.


STOVE TOP

Add sausage to 2-3 inches of boiling water. Simmer for 10-12 minutes.


GRILL

Grill over medium-high heat for 12-14 minutes, turning frequently.

For children under 5 years: Cut sausage lengthwise, then slice into bite size pieces.

My question is this, has the recipe changed recently? We've noticed a change in the flavor and coloring. Just wondering. Thanks.

Now I always get one or 2 (I was lucky this week, my grocery store had them buy one get one free!) my only issue is that I buy them intending to make some sort of meal out of it but I end up just cutting pieces off and eating them cold out of the fridge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Always a favorite in our house We love this sausage, my favorite style is by making a crisscross cuts in both sides and grill in the bbq in medium heat about 5 to 6 minutes each side until it start to char. This burns some of the sugars adding a fantastic flavor... Serve it with good dijon mustard...hmmm
